For coaches who work with clients over time

Your sessions matter.
So do the 167 hours in between.

Between sessions, breakthroughs happen, confidence grows, and sometimes doubts creep in. Resonis gives your clients somewhere to check in whenever something's on their mind, and gives you a short brief before every session. So you see what's really happening while there's still time to act, and your clients stay on track.

It's not an AI coach. It never coaches. You do.

See a real brief first

It starts with one question

You ask, "How's everything been?"

They say, "Yeah, fine."

But it wasn't fine. Or it was better than fine, and they've forgotten why. On Tuesday they finally had the conversation they'd been dreading. On Thursday they caught themselves slipping back into an old pattern, and noticed it for the first time. By the time they sit down with you, all of that has shrunk to "fine".

So the first part of the session goes on piecing the fortnight back together from memory, instead of building on it.

Without Resonis

  • The session opens with catching up.
  • The real moments of the week come back half-remembered, or not at all.
  • A breakthrough on a Wednesday has faded by the time you meet.
  • Your client carries it all on their own until then.

With Resonis

  • You've read the brief before you say hello.
  • What happened is captured in their own words, while it was still fresh.
  • That Wednesday breakthrough is waiting for you to build on.
  • Your client had somewhere to put it the moment it happened.

Same coach. Same client. A very different start to the session.

And over the weeks, it adds up

Keep the momentum going between sessions.

Progress rarely happens in a straight line. Some weeks a client is flying; other weeks the energy dips and doubts creep in. Most clients don't quit in a session. They drift between them, in the hours you couldn't see. Resonis lets you see both, while there's still time to build on it.

Resonis shows you the early signs:
Early sign

They've gone quiet.

If a client hasn't checked in for a week or more, you'll see it on your dashboard, not discover it when they cancel.

Early sign

Their mood is slipping.

The brief tracks mood over weeks, so a downward trend stands out before it becomes a decision.

Early sign

They're starting to doubt.

If a client says they're unsure it's helping, it's flagged in the brief, calmly, so you can talk about it in your next session.

And

It helps them see how far they've come.

Clients stay when they can feel change. Brief history and the journey view show their progress, in their own words.

What you'd see on your dashboard. Sample with fictional clients.

When you can see the drift, you can do something about it.

Where Resonis stands

AI shouldn't coach your clients. Resonis never does.

The coaching is yours.
Resonis looks after what happens in between.

The relationship, the insight, the challenge, the moment you ask exactly the right question: that's coaching, and it's yours. Resonis was built to protect it, not to replace it. It does one quiet job between sessions, and then it hands everything back to you.

What Resonis does

  • Gives your client somewhere to put what's on their mind, the moment it happens.
  • Listens, and reflects back what they've said, in their own words.
  • Gently helps them notice what they'd like to bring to their next session with you.
  • Gives you a short brief before you meet, and the full conversations whenever you want them.

What Resonis never does

  • Never gives advice.
  • Never coaches.
  • Never tells your client what to think or do.
  • Never tries to solve their problems for them.

Resonis holds. The coach coaches.

See it for yourself

Here's what happens between sessions.

Sarah is a fictional client. This is part of a check-in from a Tuesday evening, and the brief her coach reads on Thursday morning, drawn from all her check-ins that week.

Tuesday, 9:40pm · Sarah checks in
ClientSarah Chen
SarahI finally told my manager I couldn't take on the extra project. My hands were shaking the whole time.
ResonisYour whole body was reacting to it — even as you were saying the words you needed to say. What did your manager do when you told her?
SarahShe looked surprised, but she just said okay. Now I keep replaying it and wondering if I've made things worse.
ResonisYou're caught in that loop of replaying it, trying to figure out what that surprise meant and what the consequences might be. When you think about bringing this to your next session, what would be most useful to explore — what happened inside you while you were saying it, or what you're making of her reaction now?
SarahWhat happened inside me, I think. I want to work out why saying no feels so dangerous.

Notice what Resonis didn't do: no advice, no solutions. It reflected what she said, asked one question at a time, and pointed her back to her coach.

Summary
The client has been working through a recurring pattern of difficulty saying no at work, particularly with their manager… Notably, they did take a significant step and declined an extra project request, and while they felt proud, the experience was physically overwhelming and they quickly fell into replaying it and catastrophising the outcome. The central question emerging for them is not just how to set boundaries, but why saying no feels so dangerous.

⚠Physical symptoms (shaking hands) accompanied the act of saying no, suggesting this may be more than a skills issue — there's a strong somatic and emotional charge here worth noticing.

And the good weeks too

Catch the wins, not just the worries.

Resonis notices the good moments just as much as the hard ones, and they're often the ones that get lost.

The breakthrough on a Tuesday.

Captured in their own words while it's fresh, and waiting for you to build on.

The first time they handled it differently.

Small shifts that are easy to forget by session day, but worth acknowledging together.

Confidence building over weeks.

Every brief has a Wins and progress section, and the mood trend and themes show the change, so you can show them.

Sarah's brief the following week. Sarah is fictional; the brief was written by Resonis from her check-ins.

Client-led, like your coaching.

Resonis follows your client's lead, whether that's a goal, a win, a plan or a hard week. It works for every kind of coaching: life, career, business, leadership, performance and more. And the ICF's 2025 core competencies ask coaches to sustain progress and learning across the whole engagement, not just in the session. Resonis helps you do exactly that.

What Resonis solves

Sound familiar?

The problems every coach knows, and what Resonis does about each one.

"They can't feel their progress, so they don't renew."

Brief history and the journey view show themes shifting over weeks, in your client's own words. When they wonder whether it's working, you can show them.

"Every coach seems to offer the same thing."

Check-ins between sessions become part of your package. Your offer feels bigger, your diary stays the same, and built into your prices, it can pay for itself.

"We had a great session. By the next one, the momentum's gone."

Your client can check in that evening, while it's still fresh, and again whenever something shifts during the week. You'll see how they carried it, waiting in the brief.

"The start of every session goes on catching up."

You've read the brief before you say hello, so you start where it matters.

"My clients don't do the work between sessions."

Most people don't want homework. Resonis isn't a task or a form. Clients just say what's on their mind, in their own words, whenever it suits them. Setting actions stays your call.

"My clients message me at all hours."

Now they check in with Resonis instead, whenever something's on their mind, even at 10pm. You read it when it suits you, and walk into your next session already knowing.

"I can't remember who said what."

One short brief per client, before each session. A few minutes, and you walk in prepared.

How it works

Set up in minutes. Then it quietly runs in the background.

1

Invite your client

From your dashboard, add your client's name and email address. They get a friendly invitation by email, or you can share the link yourself. They're set up in a few minutes, with nothing to download.

2

They check in whenever they need to

After a difficult conversation, late at night, on the bus home. Resonis listens, reflects back, and helps them notice what they'd like to bring to you. They know from the start that you can read what they share.

3

You read the brief before you meet

A short, clear brief with what's been happening, the themes, their mood, anything worth keeping an eye on, and what they'd like to explore. Then you do what you do best.

Your sign-up link arrives by email within minutes of starting your trial, so you can invite your first client the same day.

The hard questions

You're trusting us with your clients. Here are straight answers.

Will my clients start relying on an app instead of me?

No. Resonis keeps pointing them back to you. Its whole job is to help them notice what they'd like to bring to your next session, not to work through it with them.

Can I see what my clients say?

Yes, all of it. You can read the full conversations as well as the brief. Clients are told this from the start, in the app and in their guide. Your own private notes stay hidden from your client, and Resonis never writes them.

What if it gets something wrong?

It can. Resonis is an AI, and it can misread a message or miss nuance. But it never gives your client advice, so there's no advice to get wrong. Treat the brief as a starting point for your own judgement, not a verdict. The full conversation is always there to check.

Is it ethical to use with my clients?

We suggest telling each client before you invite them what Resonis is, that you can read their check-ins, and that it isn't therapy. Our client guide explains it plainly. Your professional body's code of ethics and data protection rules still apply, so it's worth checking them. You stay in charge of how your clients' data is used.

Is my clients' data safe?

Client data is stored in the EU (Stockholm) and encrypted. To write replies and briefs, conversations are processed by our AI provider, Anthropic, and our hosting provider, which may be outside the EU. Our Privacy Policy explains the safeguards. Conversations aren't used to train Anthropic's models, and nothing is ever sold or used for marketing.

Who else can see my clients?

Each coach's clients, conversations and notes are kept separate from every other coach's. As the person who runs Resonis, Michael can technically reach the system. He has committed in our Privacy Policy to look at conversations only to fix a fault you've reported, never to browse.

Resonis is built for coaching clients, not crisis support. As a quiet safety net, if a client ever writes something that suggests they're at risk, Resonis points them to their local emergency number and findahelpline.com, and lets you know.

Why Resonis exists

Built by a coach who felt the gap.

Michael Batey, founder of Resonis
"When I was coaching, I'd ask a client how things had been and get a fraction of the story. The moments that really mattered had happened days earlier, and by the time we met they'd faded. I couldn't find anything that held those moments without getting in the way of the coaching. So I built Resonis to do exactly that, and nothing more."

Certified REBT mindset coach and author of Why Does My Brain Do That, You're Not Broken and Written in Your Hands.

A few more questions

What do my clients get out of it? +

Somewhere to put what's on their mind the moment it happens, instead of carrying it alone until you next meet. They're properly heard, in their own words, without being judged or advised, and they arrive at your session already knowing what they want to work on. It's free for them, with nothing to download.

Is there a free trial? +

Yes: 14 days free, with up to 5 clients. You add a card or PayPal to start, but nothing is charged until day 14, and we email you a reminder 3 days before. Cancel any time before then and you won't be charged. After the trial it's $49/month, with up to 25 clients. One free trial per person.

Do my clients pay anything? +

No. Your clients join free.

What do my clients know about Resonis? +

Everything that matters, from the start. They're told their coach can read what they share, and that Resonis never gives advice. Your notes and any flags stay private to you. What your clients know has the details, and a short message you can send clients before you invite them.

What if my clients don't use it? +

Some won't, and that's useful to know too. A client who stops checking in is often a client starting to drift, and Resonis shows you when someone's gone quiet. Clients join free, with nothing to download, so it's easy for them to try.

I already use WhatsApp or voice notes. Why switch? +

Those keep you on call, and leave you piecing a week of messages together yourself. With Resonis, clients check in whenever they need to, and you get one short, clear brief before each session, without your phone buzzing at 10pm.

Can I include Resonis in my coaching packages? +

Yes. Your clients never pay Resonis anything, but you're free to include check-ins between sessions in your own prices. Spread across 10 clients, Resonis costs $4.90 per client a month.

What kinds of coaching is it for? +

Any coaching where you see clients over several sessions: life, business, mindset, wellness, career and more.

Does it work on phones? +

Yes. Resonis runs in the browser on any phone or computer, so there's nothing to download.

What if a client writes something worrying? +

Every message is checked. If something suggests a client may be at risk, you're emailed within minutes and it's flagged on your dashboard. Resonis also points your client to their local emergency number and findahelpline.com. See exactly how it works.

How do I cancel? +

In a couple of clicks, any time, from your subscription page (or email michael@getresonis.com). Your account and your clients' accounts are paused, not deleted. If you come back within 30 days with the same email, everything is just as you left it. After that, your data is deleted.

What currency do you charge in? +

US dollars. Your bank or card provider converts it automatically.

More than 25 clients? +
